Plans & Publications

Milford’s historical agricultural market functions have moved to the outskirts of the town and the town core functions as a service centre for the resident’s located within the wider town boundary and rural hinterland, with retailing, administrative, community, health and education uses.

Much of the town centre’s attractive historical settlement pattern is still evident and many simple attractive buildings from the past remain along its Main Street.

The Milford Town Centre First Plan sets out the strategic vision for Milford and identifies themes and objectives which respond to the issues, challenges, needs and opportunities which have emerged from the extensive engagement between the community of Milford and Donegal County Council.
